William Edward Weihe was called to spend Christmas with his heavenly father on December 16, 2016 in Auburn, Nebraska. He was born November 12, 1950 in Valentine Nebraska to Rose (Marshall, Weihe) Sullivan and Edward Henry Weihe.
He grew up in Valentine and graduated from Valentine High School in 1969. After high school, William joined the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
William was an amazing pool player, and volunteered his time coaching little league baseball. He was an avid Packers fan, and also loved the Huskers.
He leaves to mourn: his wife Linda of Auburn; his son Heath (Rachel) of Albuquerque, New Mexico; his daughters Autumn (Kevin) Tewes of Arlington, Texas, Veronica(Ralph) Jennings of Auburn; 8 grandchildren; his mother Rose Sullivan of Auburn; his sisters Linda Pahlke of Mandan, ND, Elsie(Mike) Hill of Sabetha, KS, Sandra(Tom) Clark and Mary Hoy of Auburn, NE; his brothers Pat(Lora) Sullivan, Lincoln, NE, and Richard (Wilma) Sullivan, Meitengen, Germany, several nieces and nephews. He will be joining his father Edward and his stepfather, Richard Sullivan and his grandparents.
A memorial service will be Tuesday, December 20, 10:00 a.m. at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn. No visitation is planned. Burial of ashes will be at a later date at Valentine, NE.
