William Dennis Vore, one of 5 children of William E. and Virginia A. (Ferns) Vore, was born April 8, 1950 in Maryville, Missouri. Dennis, as he was known, attended school in his hometown of Hopkins, Missouri.
On August 31, 1968 Dennis was united in marriage to LaConda “Connie” Campbell in Topeka, Kansas. Their union was blessed with two children, Bill and Amanda. The couple made their home in Peru, Nebraska.
Dennis was a member of St. Clara’s Catholic Church in Peru and volunteered as a Boy Scout Leader in the Peru troop. He worked as a machinist at Magnolia Metal in Auburn, Nebraska for 45 years. He was known as a hard worker until his retirement in 2015.
Dennis passed away unexpectedly at his home in Peru on Saturday, April 18, 2020 just 10 days after his 70th birthday. His parents preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife Connie of Peru; son Bill (Kathe) Vore of Oneida, KS; daughter Amanda Vore of Peru; grandchildren Connor and Maizy Vore; brothers and sisters Larry (Carla) Vore of Pickering, MO; Shirley (Richard) Ridenour of Hopkins, MO; Clarance (Norma) Vore of Maryville, MO; Claralyn Coff of Hopkins, MO; mother-in-law Myrna Campbell of Peru; brother-in-law Lee (Peggy) Mosier of Oklahoma City, OK; sisters-in-law Carol Tebo of Dayton, TN; Lori Crump of Memphis, TN; Shaun and Martha Pearson and family of Sabetha, KS; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Due to the government restrictions concerning Covid-19, a memorial service will be held at a later date to be determined.
