Walter H. Knippelmeyer, age 91 of Johnson, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn.
Survivors include his daughter Linda (Dave) Neil of Lincoln; son Lavon (Joan) Knippelmeyer of Johnson; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Maxine Knippelmeyer of Auburn; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 11, 2:00 p.m. at St. James Lutheran (Long Branch) Church in rural Humboldt. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with graveside military honors by American Legion Post #330 of Johnson. Visitation will be at the funeral home in Johnson Sunday noon to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 3:00 to 5:00, and Monday 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Memorials are suggested to family choice.
