Vicki Whitten-Dowse, age 54 of Auburn, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at her home. She was born February 7, 1955 in Los Angeles, California.

Survivors include her husband Michael Dowse of Auburn; step-son Anthony and wife Connie Dowse of Phoenix, Arizona; 2 step-grandchildren; mother Coretta Whitten of Nebraska City; brothers and sisters-in-law Tom and wife Betty Ramage of Nebraska City, Evert and wife Lisa Whitten of Nebraska City, Steven and wife Rhonda Whitten of Indiana; sisters and brother-in-law Deborah and husband Bill Weisberg of Tennessee, Janice Kitrell of Texas, Carol Whitten of Nebraska City; mother-in-law Joyce Cary and dear friend Robert Parratt of Hastings, Nebraska; father-in-law Doyle and wife Sue Dowse of Comstock, Nebraska; sisters-in-law Gia Dowse of North Carolina, Sarah and husband Joe Garrison of Texas.

Graveside inurnment of ashes at Wyuka Cemetery in Nebraska City will be at a later date.
