Troy Anthony Williams, Sr.

 Troy Anthony Williams, Sr., the eldest of eight siblings, was born on August 2, 1969 in New Orleans, Louisiana. 

 He transitioned from this life, on December 26, 2024, after a lengthy illness. He was 55 years old. 

 After graduating from high school in 1988, Troy married Andrea Weaver in 1989. They were married for nearly thirty-five years and shared seven children. 

 In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, he and his family relocated to Auburn & Lincoln, Nebraska, where he resided until his demise. 

 Troy leaves to cherish his memory, Andrea; his seven children: Troy Williams, Jr, Tory Williams, Dylan Webber, Tierra Williams, Tyler Williams, Taja Williams, and Tamia Williams; two beloved daughters-in-law, Jackie Williams and Kyleen Moore Williams; and eight grandchildren. He also leaves behind his mother, Vernette Williams Albert; two brothers: George Albert, III (Dominique), Jude Albert; five sisters: Amanda McKey (Warren), Valcindranette Thomas (Pastor Willie Thomas, III), Angel Skinner (Pastor Frederick Skinner), Nicole Jones, and Georgette Albert; and a host of relatives and friends. 

 Troy was preceded in death by his beloved maternal grandmother, Lucille Jackson Williams, his grandfather, Eddie “Papa Son” Williams, his father George Scott, and stepfather, Bishop George H. Albert, Jr. 

 Troy fought a good fight. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 18, 1:00 p.m. at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to service.
