Richard ?Dick? Humphrey, age 77 of Grand Island (formerly Omaha), passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2010. He was born May 5, 1933 in Auburn, NE, and was an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his sons Rick and wife Jonie Humphrey of Bloomfield, OH, Pat Humphrey of Waukee, IA; 2 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister Norma Dahlke of Auburn; sister-in-law Deloris Humphrey of Florida; friends Bill Dahlke of Auburn, Danny Vermillion of Omaha; other relatives and many more friends.
Graveside committal of ashes will be Monday, September 27, 11:00 a.m. at Sheridan West Cemetery near Auburn with graveside military honors provided by American Legion Post #23 of Auburn and the Nebraska National Guard Honors Team. There will be no visitation.
