Richard Bohling

Richard G. Bohling, age 78 of Johnson, passed away at his rural Johnson home on Tuesday, September 9, 2008. He was born November 19, 1929 near Johnson.



Survivors include his wife Geraldine of Johnson; children Elyse Morton of North Platte, NE; Marvin and wife Karen Bohling of Johnson; Keith and wife Janet Bohling of Johnson; Bradley and wife Sarah Bohling of San Acacia, NM; Marilyn and husband Jon Ellingson of Gretna; 16 grandchildren; sisters Alvina Kuhlman of Smith Center, KS; Sophia Rizor of Tecumseh; Hulda Zier of Lincoln; sisters-in-law Betty Bohling of Johnson; Alberta Parsell of Springfield, OH; brother-in-law Loren and wife Margaret Plager of Table Rock; other relatives and friends.



Funeral services will be Saturday, September 13, 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran (Hickory Grove) Church near Auburn. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, with graveside military honors provided by American Legion Post #330 of Johnson. Visitation will be at the funeral home in Johnson Thursday 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends Friday 6:00 to 8:00.
