Paul Kenneth Kincanon, son of William A. and Ivy A. (Shiveley) Kincanon, was born on a farm near Nemaha, Nebraska on March 14, 1926. He was one of five children born to this union. Paul received his formal education at a rural school near Nemaha.
Although Paul worked at various jobs in his lifetime, most of his life was spent working for farmers around the Nemaha area. He lived in Nemaha County most of his life, with the exception of a period he lived in Tarkio, Missouri.
Paul moved to Long?s Creek Assisted Living in Auburn, Nebraska on January 27, 2009. He lived there until entering Clarkson Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska on June 5, 2012 for surgery. From Clarkson he returned to Auburn and the Good Samaritan Society. It was there he passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at the age of 86 years, 3 months, and 7 days. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Dean and Layton, and sister Zola Phillips.
Paul is survived by his sister Bessie Feighner of Auburn, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside committal and inurnment of ashes will be Monday, July 2, 10:00 a.m. at Prairie Union Cemetery near Shubert, Nebraska. Francis Rice will officiate.
