The youngest of eleven children, she grew up on a farm near Plattsmouth and graduated from Plattsmouth High School in 1937. On August 8, 1940, Mildred was united in marriage to Robert R. Weber in Plattsmouth. The couple would be blessed with six children: John, Daniel, Joel, Mary, Barbara, and Margaret.

Mildred used her education and taught at schools in Kansas City and Denver. She was an executive secretary in New York, and played her beloved violin in the Dallas Symphony, Omaha Symphony, and for orchestras in Guam and New York. Mildred was active in Catholic Daughters, Music Club, and PFF Bridge Club. She was a tireless volunteer, giving violin lessons, helping clean and keep records at the rectory in Dawson, and helping children read for years at Sacred Heart School. She was a long-time member of St. Anne’s Church in Shubert and most recently Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Falls City.

In July of 2019 Mildred became a resident of Falls City Nursing and Rehabilitation in Falls City, Nebraska. It was there she passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at the age of 102 years, 7 months, and 30 days. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, all of her siblings, and her son John.
