Michael F. Young, age 66 of Auburn, passed away Friday, May 2, 2008 at the UN Medical Center in Omaha. He was born September 4, 1941 in Evergreen Park, IL.
Survivors include his wife Shelley of Auburn; children Catherine Young of Omaha; Michele Young and husband Jeff Zelda of Omaha; Jennifer Nelson and husband Mark of Belvidere, IL; Jason Lambert and wife Julie of Auburn; Megan Hale and husband Greg of Surprise, AZ; 8 grandchildren; sisters Susan Watson and husband William of Oak Forest, IL; Edie Young of Riverside, IL; sister-in-law Pat Young; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 7, 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Auburn. Burial will follow in Sheridan West Cemetery near Auburn. Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 7:00 to 9:00.
