Merle Allen, age 83 of Nemaha, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2008 at the Nemaha County Good Samaritan Center in Auburn. He was born December 12, 1924 near Nemaha.
Survivors include his wife Gwendolyn of Nemaha; children Janice and husband Ron Moore of Kearney, MO; Sharon and Bill Hessler of Auburn; Jack and Bev Allen of Auburn; Diana and Ron Perry of Nemaha; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother Leonard Allen of Nemaha; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 13, 2:00 p.m. at the Hemmingsen Funeral Home Chapel in Auburn. Burial will follow in Sheridan Cemetery west of Auburn. Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 6:00 to 7:00.
Memorials suggested to family choice.
