Matilda Schlange, age 105 of Auburn, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Good Samaritan Society-Auburn.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law Phyllis and Charles Van Swol of Greenwood, SC; Linda and Stephen Phillips of Auburn; Nancy and Kent Wilson of Beatrice; Ernestine and Jerry Stone of Custer, WA; grandchildren and spouses Phillip Krohn, Glenda and Jeff Long, Matthew and Marie Phillips, George and Lisset Phillips, Anne Viveros, Darren Wilson, Adam and Christa Stone, and Paul Stone; 16 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Erma DeBuhr of Auburn; other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be Monday, April 8, 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Auburn. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday noon to 6:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 4:00 to 6:00.
Memorials are suggested to St. Paul Lutheran Church or CRU (Campus Crusade for Christ).
