Marlene K. Matherne, age 63 of Baton Rouge, LA (formerly of Omaha), passed away Monday, September 3, 2007 in Baton Rouge. She was born September 2, 1944 in Omaha, and graduated from Omaha South.
Survivors include her daughter Susan Matherne and partner David Roberts of New Orleans, LA; son Mark Matherne of New Orleans; sisters Patty and husband Amos Mandel of Omaha; Darlene and husband Bob Broadhead of Troy, NY; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 8, 2:30 p.m. at the Brownville United Methodist Church in Brownville, NE. Burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery at Brownville. No visitation is planned.
Memorials and flowers may be sent to the funeral home.
