Lloyd E. Gerdes, age 79 of Auburn, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center in Lincoln.
Survivors include his wife Marlene of Auburn; sons Jerry of Omaha; Terry of Central City, NE; Craig and wife Bobbi of Omaha; 2 grandchildren; sisters Ora Behrends and Maxine Behrends, both of Johnson; Della Bergmann and husband Harvey of Auburn; brother Raymond Gerdes and wife Nadyne of Humboldt; sister-in-law Shirley Gerdes of Auburn; many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 3, 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Auburn. Burial will follow in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery near Auburn. Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 6:00 to 8:00.
