Leona M. Krause, age 97 of San Diego, CA (formerly of Auburn), passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at the UCSD Thornton Hospital in La Jolla, CA. She was born December 22, 1912 in Scribner, NE.
Survivors include her daughter Kathleen and husband Robert Sterner of San Diego, CA; son Dr. Richard and wife Jane Krause of Austin, TX; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Services will be Monday, March 1, 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Auburn. Burial will be later that afternoon in Scribner Cemetery at Scribner. Visitation will be on Sunday at the funeral home from noon to 8:00 p.m. with family greeting friends 4-6.
Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Pre-School.
