Larry Dean Blankenship, son of Charles and Merril (Standley) Blankenship, was born August 17, 1956 in Nebraska City, Nebraska. He attended school in Peru, Auburn, and Southeast Consolidated in Stella, where he graduated in 1974.
He enjoyed football and wrestling in high school and in his spare time he liked to ride horses, camp out, and be with friends and family.
Larry worked as a truck driver most of his life, starting with Constructors in the 1970’s and then Keim and Koch in the 80’s. He farmed for Fred Allen in the 90’s and most recently contracted to FedEx as a driver.
