Katherine Able, age 88 of Auburn, passed away Thursday, August 02, 2007 at the Nemaha County Good Samaritan Center in Auburn. She was born May 1, 1919.
Survivors include her sons Robert (Bob) and wife Casey Able of Bozeman, MT; Leroy and wife Valerie Able of Auburn; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Lucille Schaefer of Auburn; Mildred Groff of Auburn; Betty Able of Auburn; Betty Tankersley of Toledo, OH; brother-in-law Frank Able of Rochester, MN; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 6, 10:30 a.m. at the Bethel Community Church east of Auburn. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery at Peru. Visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday noon to 9:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 4:00 to 6:00.
