June L. Umland, age 87, of Auburn passed away Monday, September 14, 2009 at the Good Samaritan Society-Auburn. She was born May 14, 1922 in Eckley, Colorado.
She is survived by sister-in-law Arlene Whisler of Auburn; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Funeral Mass will be Saturday, September 19, 2009, 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Auburn. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Peru. Visitation will be on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with Rosary being recited at 7.
Memorials suggested in lieu of flowers.
