John Michael Huey was born July 20, 1951 to Clyde and Shirley (Vice) Huey. He was one of five children.
John attended school in Nemaha and Southeast Consolidated in Stella.
Most of John’s life he worked as a scrapper, a junkman! He cut up more metal than anyone could even imagine.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Karen (Palmerton) Huey; their sons Matt and his son Gavin of Auburn, Stacey of Auburn, LCPL Tyler and Colby Huey of 29 Palms, CA; sisters Linda McMann of Auburn, Paula and husband Gary Hays of Shubert; brothers Jim and wife Linda Huey of Evansdale, GA, Rick Huey of Nemaha; his father Clyde Huey of Nemaha; two very special people Amy Smith of Tarkio, MO, Lance Hays of Shubert; nieces and nephews; and many more family members and friends.
John was preceded in death by his loving mother Shirley, brother-in-law Red McMann, and niece Shelby Huey.
