John A. Gimenez (ret. Major, USAF), age 73 of Auburn, passed away at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka, KS on Wednesday, August 29, 2007. He was born December 27, 1933 in Toledo, OH.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 1, 10:30 a.m. at Hemmingsen Funeral Home Chapel in Auburn. Burial will follow in Bedford Cemetery at Howe, with graveside military honors by Offutt Air Force Base Honor Guard. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday noon to 8:00 p.m.
Survivors include his wife Jean of Howe; son Tom Gimenez of Lincoln, NE; daughter Mary Gimenez of Bellevue, NE; sisters and brothers-in-law Mary and Jerry Street of Toledo, OH; Liz and Robert Arthur of Glen Ellyn, IL; Helen Gilbert of Maumee, OH; other relatives and friends.
Memorials suggested to family choice.
