Hobert M. Anderson, age 77 of Troy, MO (formerly Stella and Nemaha), passed away Saturday, April 6, 2008 at the VA Medical Center in Omaha. He was born February 26, 1931 in Nemaha, and was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law Doug and Gabriella of Geneva, Switzerland; Dave and Jana of Stella; Dan and Teresa of Nemaha; Don and Cathy of Lincoln; 15 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; former wife Evelyn Anderson of Stella; companion Mary Ann Stroer of Troy, MO; and extended family Jerianne and Pete Rimert; Donald Stroer; David Stroer; Matthew Stroer; Andrew Stroer; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 10, 10:30 a.m. at Hemmingsen Funeral Home Chapel in Auburn. Burial will follow in the Nemaha Cemetery, with graveside military honors provided by American Legion Post #23 and VFW Post #2635 of Auburn. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 6:00 to 8:00.
Memorials are suggested to family choice.
