Herold A. Gebers

Herold A. Gebers, age 86 of Lincoln (formerly of Auburn), passed away at Bickford Cottage in Lincoln on Monday, June 26, 2017.
Survivors include his wife Rose; sons Steve and wife Sandy of Omaha, Tim and Michele Davis of Johnson; step-children Gregory and wife Stacey Lima of Lincoln, Debra and husband David Royal of Eagle, Ronda Christiansen of Lincoln, Tammy and husband John Gress of Eagle; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren with one on the way; sisters-in-law Inez Gebers of Johnson, Doris Gebers of Auburn; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A funeral service will be Saturday, July 1, 10:00 a.m., at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn. Burial will follow in Sheridan West Cemetery at Auburn with graveside military honors provided by American Legion Post #23 of Auburn. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 7:00 to 8:00.
Memorials suggested to National Kidney Foundation or Autism Speaks.
