Helen V. (Bohl) Siebe was born August 3, 1924, at Howe, Nebraska to Charles N. and Myrtle (Dovel) Bohl. Helen spent her childhood in Nemaha County, Nebraska. She attended the rural school in Howe. When her family moved to Auburn, Nebraska, she attended school there and graduated from Auburn High School.
She was united in marriage to Lawrence H. Jaros, and they made their home in Humboldt, Nebraska. To this union were born three children: a daughter, Linda, and sons, Charles and Larry. The couple later divorced.
Later Helen married Harvey Siebe, and they made their home in Auburn. He is now deceased.
Helen worked many places throughout her life, taking care of individuals in their homes and at the Good Samaritan Center in Auburn.
Helen became a resident of Good Sam in January of 2015. It was there she passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at the age of 92 years, 1 month, and 14 days. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Richard, Raymond, Robert, and Gale; and sisters Maxine and Beulah.
Survivors of Helen are her daughter Linda, and husband Charles Kimes of Dawson, Nebraska; sons, Charles, and wife Shari Jaros; Larry, and wife Pat Jaros, all of Humboldt, Nebraska; grandchildren and their families; sister-in-law Alice Bohl of Laguna Niguel, California; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A graveside memorial service and committal of ashes will be Wednesday, September 21, 10:00 a.m. at Bedford Cemetery at Howe.
