Gladys Schneider, age 84 of Johnson, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2009 at the Good Samaritan Society-Auburn. She was born May 4, 1925 in rural Nemaha County, Nebraska.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Imogene and Rich Matejka of Lincoln; sons and daughters-in-law Allen and Jan Schneider of Johnson; Dennis and Carol Schneider of Johnson; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters Mildred Kalous of Auburn; Neva and husband Jim Thies of Auburn; brothers Lloyd and wife Donna Volker of Humboldt; Dean and wife Darlene Volker of Nemaha; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 18, 11:00 a.m. at Martin Luther Church south of Johnson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at 303 Chestnut in Johnson Tuesday 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
