Gary W. Vickers, age 56 of Lincoln, passed away Friday, August 21, 2009 at his home. He was born January 3, 1953 in Auburn, Nebraska, and was a Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife Victoria of Lincoln; son Christopher of Lincoln; step-sons Danny and wife Julie of Eugene, OR; Kenneth and wife Kelli of Auburn; Brian of Eugene, OR; 4 step-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; parents Wayne and Carolyn Vickers of Auburn; 3 sisters; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 25, 2:00 p.m. at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn. Burial will follow in Sheridan Cemetery near Auburn. Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with family greeting friends 6:00 to 8:00.
