Erwin L. Stutheit, age 86 of Tecumseh (formerly of Johnson), passed away Tuesday, October 09, 2007 at the Johnson County Hospital in Tecumseh. He was born May 13, 1921 near Johnson.
Survivors include his wife Sherie Sapp-Stutheit of Tecumseh; daughters Patricia Jackson of Tecumseh; Diana and husband Rich Birdsley of Lake Ozark, MO; step-children Tyler and wife Jeanette Sapp of Lincoln; Lori and husband Mark Reinke of Lincoln; Diane and husband Mike Wise of Austin, TX; 6 grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 step-great-grandchild; sisters Luella Plager of Colorado; Delta Rogge of Auburn; brother- and sister-in-law Arnold and Norma Gadeken of Talmage; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Friday, October 12, 10:30 a.m. at St. John?s Lutheran Church in Tecumseh. Burial will follow in the Trinity (Stutheit) Cemetery south of Johnson. Visitation will be at the funeral home at 303 Chestnut in Johnson Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 6:00 to 8:00.
Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested to family choice.
