Elton George, age 88 of Auburn, passed away Friday, March 9, 2007 at the Nemaha County Good Samaritan Center in Auburn. He was born December 3, 1918 in Mineola, IA, and was a WWII Marine veteran.
Survivors include his sons Jerry and wife Kay of Oakdale, MN; John and wife Barbara of Auburn; step-daughter Susan and husband John Dunnivant of Arizona;
Memorial services will be Wednesday, March 14, 1:30 p.m. at the Hemmingsen Funeral Home Chapel in Auburn. No visitation is planned. Inurnment of ashes will be at Hillcrest Gardens in Nampa, Idaho at a later date.
Memorials suggested to Auburn American Legion Baseball.
