Elaine Wheeler, age 86 of Stella, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014 at her niece’s home in Waverly.
Survivors include her nieces Sandy and husband Bill Balfour of Nebraska City; Kim and husband Kyle Bassinger of Waverly; great-nieces and –nephews David Balfour; Brooke, Michael, and Cole Bassinger; Hyle Hugunin, Jr. and Chris Hugunin; special friend Sue Bantz; and many other wonderful friends.
A graveside funeral service will be Saturday, January 3, 11:00 a.m. at Prairie Union Cemetery near Shubert. Visitation will be at the funeral home in Auburn Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 3:00 to 5:00.
