Donald ?Gene? Patras, age 86 of Auburn, passed away Friday, July 1, 2011, at Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn. He was born October 16, 1924 in Neligh, Nebraska.
Gene is survived by his sons Jeff and wife Leslie Bratrsovsky of Auburn; Mark Bratrsovsky and significant other Kristy Smith of Humboldt; 3 step-grandsons; brother Glen and wife Rose Patras of Lincoln; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, July 6, 2:00 p.m. at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn. Burial will follow in Sheridan Cemetery, with graveside military honors by American Legion Post #23. Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with family greeting friends from 6:00 to 7:00.
