Don L Kiechel, age 92 of Auburn (formerly Johnson), passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Society-Auburn. He was born September 20, 1918 in Kansas City, MO.
Don is survived by daughter Kay Marie and husband Michael White of Lincoln; grandson Chris Van Cleave and Janelle Klingensmith of Waverly; great-grandsons Bodie and Caden Van Cleave; step-granddaughter Rozlyn and husband Brian Hoesing; step-great-grandchildren Brodie and Landry Hoesing; special friends Jim and Mavis Green; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 25, 2010, 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Johnson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn Friday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 6:00 to 8:00.
Memorials suggested to Good Samaritan Society Special Care Unit or family choice.
