Diane Blecha

Diane Patricia Blecha, one of two children of Lyle and Phyllis (Schueter) Blecha, was born June 2, 1952 in Omaha, Nebraska. Diane attended Omaha Public Schools and graduated from Central High School.

Diane worked at various places as a secretary during her life, until becoming disabled and unable to work. She moved to Auburn, Nebraska to be closer to her daughter Sara and her family.

Animals always had a place in Diane’s heart, and she liked to have pets around her. She was a jewelry aficionado and was known for wearing many rings, bracelets, and other items. She also enjoyed watching westerns on the television whenever she could.

Diane moved to the Good Samaritan Society-Auburn in March of 2014. She was rushed from Good Sam to the Nemaha County Hospital, where she passed away on Monday, April 7, 2014 at the age of 61 years, 10 months, and 5 days. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to mourn her passing include her daughter and son-in-law Sara and Matt Helms of Auburn; grandchildren Bristan and Alayna; brother and sister-in-law Bob and Edna Blecha of Omaha; other relatives and friends.
