Dean Jr. Walker, age 84 of Brownville, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2007 at the Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn. He was born on the family farm near Brownville on October 8, 1923, and farmed his entire life in the Brownville area.
Survivors include his children Elaine and husband Steve Knapp of Brownville; Philip and wife Teresa Walker of Brownville; Carol and husband Jerry Bills of Elkhorn; grandchildren Kimberly Knapp; Angela and husband Harley Mosley; Gabriel Walker; Heather and Trevor Bills; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 30, 10:30 a.m. at Hemmingsen Funeral Home Chapel in Auburn. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery at Peru. Visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Monday 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with family greeting friends Monday 6:30 to 8:00.
Memorials suggested to Peru Rescue Squad.
