Bruce Allen Petzoldt, age 64 of Fort Payne, Alabama (formerly of Johnson, NE), passed away Saturday, February 7, 2009 at his home.
Survivors include his wife Candy Petzoldt of Fort Payne; three daughters, Rikki Rippen of Decatur, AL; Melissa and husband Michael Cain of Athens, AL; Sara and husband Adam Miller of Broomfiled, CO; three sons, Brian and wife Michelle Petzoldt of Winside, NE; Scott and wife Bridgette Petzoldt of Gretna, NE; Jeff and wife Christi Rippen of Decatur, AL; his mother, June Petzoldt of Grand Island, NE; and grandchildren, Justin and Nash Rippen, Chloe and Cody Cain, Morgan and Courtney Petzoldt.
Bruce was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Cassadi Rippen; and his father, Alfred Petzoldt.
Bruce was a member of the Fort Payne Masonic Lodge, and had been a member of the Brock Masonic Lodge.
Memorial services were held Wednesday in Rainsville, AL. Memorial services will also be held Saturday, February 14, 11:00 a.m. at Hemmingsen Funeral Home Chapel in Auburn.
