Arleen (Volker) Knippelmeyer, age 85 of Johnson, passed away Friday, April 4, 2008 at the Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn. She was born November 11, 1922 in the Long Branch area of Nemaha County.
Survivors include her husband Walter of Johnson; children Linda and husband Dave Neil of Lincoln; Lavon and wife Joan Knippelmeyer of Johnson; Kevin and wife Pat Knippelmeyer of Ignacio, CO; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters Elvera Bohling of Elk Creek; Norma and husband Raymond Gobber of Auburn; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 8, 2:00 p.m. at St. James Lutheran (Long Branch) Church near Humboldt. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home in Johnson Sunday 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Monday 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with family greeting friends Monday 5:00 to 8:00.
Memorials in lieu of flowers suggested to family choice.
